Year-Round Indoor Horseback Riding Arena
Our riding instructors maintain CHA, Certified Horsemanship Association, certification standards for horsemanship safety and education and continually pursue a better understanding of horsemanship. Li-Wa instructors teach both western and English riding as well as a number of associated skills. The horses are of different breeding and are carefully trained to accommodate many different levels of riders.
Riding lessons and the Academy Program teach students not only how to build relationships with horses as you learn to ride, but also share the relationship people can have with God, their Creator. The horse and rider combination is an excellent way to share with students how just like they work with their horses throughout the lesson program, God also works with us in our lives. The instructors at Camp Li-Wa use different activities or goals in their lesson to explain spiritual truths about God and His relationship with us.

Running a horsemanship program in Alaska is a challenging endeavor that requires a lot of volunteers, financial, and prayer support. Please consider helping the barn ministry by supporting one of these areas.
Prayer support– Sign up to receive update letters from Li-Wa’s Barn Staff and pray for us throughout the year. Sponsor a Horse – pledge a monthly amount of support to help take care of the horses.
One Time Gift– Give towards the horsemanship fund to help us purchase much needed items like tack, new horses, and pay for repairs on the barn.
