Camp Li-Wa’s new lodge will be a multi-use building with space for an upgraded kitchen, dining area, and ample meeting space.

The lodge has been under construction for a few years now and is approaching completion.  Finishing this project is paramount to the growth of Camp Li-Wa programs moving forward.  In the last five years, we have seen an overwhelming increase in both our summer and winter programming – reaffirming the immediate need for our new lodge to be “on-line”.

In 2025:

We had an amazing year of construction with completion of a generator building on the back of the new lodge for the donated 100 KW generator that will power the building during times of power outages.  The Lodge does have power now, which is helpful while working in and on the building. We were able to use all the kitchen pantry storage this summer, and even though there are still many finishing touches to be done, we are starting to see the light at the end of this major project.  Thank you for all the support and prayers as this project continues. 

In 2024 we:

  • Finalized interior kitchen framing
  • Built the fireplace case
  • Finalized the electrical rough in
  • Hung Drywall
  • Finalized the heating system
  • Built the loading dock area
  • Built a handicap ramp
  • Insulated 85% of the building
